You’re It! Which 5 People Would You Invite to Dinner?…

Author: Shauna  |  Category: Law of Attraction

We have been tagged by the lovely Shama Hyder from her ‘That was EASY! Secrets and Shortcuts to Personal Success‘ blog. Her question is: name 5 people you would like to have dinner with – alive or dead – and why. My answers follow, and for this challenge I am going to assume that each person would be warm, open and forthcoming in their answers to my questions.

  1. Deepak Chopra: For the powerful calming, healing and enlightening effect I believe I would enjoy from this experience. I enjoy Deepak’s insightful writing and I also know that he is a very busy, and thus inaccessible, gentleman these days. I would like to talk to him about his latest thoughts on quantum reality, health and healing, and life in general.
  2. Abraham Lincoln: To be in the presence of such a man, who as I understand it embodied many of the character qualities I aspire to cultivate in myself, would really be a unique pleasure for me. I think greatness can rub off, and that we are influenced on many levels by those with whom we associate. I can’t even begin to imagine how such an encounter would affect my life and my choices.
  3. Richard Branson: This dynamic entrepreneur exhibits just about the exact set of character traits I appreciate and wish to emulate: ambition, leadership, love of life and adventure, desire for freedom of expression and action, responsibility, vision, wealth, abundance mentality, positive attitude, etc.. What a lot I might be able to learn from him…and he seems like the type that would easily converse and be very amiable.
  4. Donald Trump: Many of my reasons here are similar to those listed under Richard Branson, and I should like to have a no-holds-barred financial talk with him. I need the wisdom of people who think BIG, and not the average ‘you can’t do that, it’s not possible’-types…who better than Donald Trump?
  5. Michael Arthurs: My brother…how I would love to see his face again, and the deeper meaning of the fact that I COULD ie. maybe there really IS more than meets the eye here, would be knowledge that alone would have a profound effect on my life and my choices. So many questions I would have for him, or whoever he is now…I see this as a very healing and enlightening experience.

There were many close ’6th’s’ on my list, including Wayne Dyer, Carl Sagan, Brian Tracy, Jack Canfield, Phil Town, Bradley Falk, Tony Robbins, His Highness King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Randy Gage, but choices are choices and I have made mine. I also realize that the people at the other side of the table ie. my choices, may not enjoy themselves very much, as this is really all about what I want, and what I could get out of it…so there you have it!

Thanks, Shama, for thinking of us. Have a great day!

The 5 people I would most want to have at dinner would be:

    1. my wonderful boyfriend Lance Belton, he’s smart, funny and a great companion and loves to share his life experiences,he’s also a good listener.

2.Rachel Ray, she can help me cook the meal and I think she’d be a blast to hang out with, she’s so funny, and positive and just a down to earth kinda gal.

3.Laurie Cabot, she’s a witch whom helped me discover my path to wicca/witchcraft and I think she’d be a great person to learn from and be with.

4.John Lennon, he’s very intelligent and opinionated but I respect the hell out of him.

5.Oprah Winfrey, she’s done so much for the world thanks to introducing The Secret to the world and she’s a great philanthropist we could all learn a lot from her about a lot of things.

Fantastic – thanks for jumping in, Kimberley. I love the variety of people and reasons…you seem like a fun-loving and down-to-earth person yourself, just judging by your comments.

    Cheers,

Sir Richard is one of my heroes. I admire his strong entrepreneurial drive and courage in competing head on with business much bigger than his. I would love to have the chance to meet him someday –Mickey Buarao
