A lot of people practicing Law of Attraction have a syndrome. You hear about it every day but no one gives it a name – so presenting the JUST IN CASE syndrome. I’ve spoken about it before but I believe this is the first time on this blog.

You are a child and you say Mom I want to be a movie star she says Honey, get a degree – just in case it doesn’t work out…You go to the grocery store and you say double bag it for me – just in case it breaks. You say I’m going to be self empolyed you hear Make sure you have 6 months worth of income – just in case it doesn’t work out. You say I’ve asked the Universe for $2k to pay my mortgage but just in case I’m going to get a part-time job. We call it our backup plan but the Universe calls it lack of trust or lack of faith. Read more…

How much faith do you have in the things you have asked for?

Yesterday we had a conversation – you know, with the regular culprits, my prosperity partners. I wanted to work on resistance to money and winning the lotto. After all, I asked for a billion dollars to make it to the Forbes 400 richest list, so every little bit helps. Anyway I wanted to work on any limiting beliefs I may have to the winning the lotto, so one by one I asked for a list of reasons ‘Why I couldn’t win the lotto.’

During this little ‘find out what’s holding you back’ session I had an important thought about faith. I asked the question ‘Could I go to the Bentley dealership and go test drive my Bentley based on the belief that I’m going to win $177 million tomorrow? Could I take that leap of faith?’ The answer was no – I’d feel utterly stupid to tell the sales guy ‘Hey, be back tomorrow after I win my $177 mill to take this baby home!’ Then it hit me. Wow!
