A common question I get is why I talk about money so much - so the answer is Abraham said Law of Attraction is evident in our society when we see that the people who speak of sickness are sick, the ones who speak of prosperity are prosperous and if you read my posts you will find a common theme running through them: that is money. I’ve always been the money person, that’s what I’m good at so I talk about it. Now Shauna is good at balance - having it all, LaKeitha is good at family, Peggy is good at credit and so when you pick up the phone to talk to any of them, you know what way the conversation will lead.
If you’ve ever seen a champion – whether a champion swimmer, basketball, football, runner - they are always practicing, because practice becomes perfect. They have the constant thought ’How can I become better at this?’ and nine times out of ten you notice every conversation with this person they talk about what? – their craft – Now what do you talk about frequently? How often do you talk about all the money you have, how often do you talk about your prosperity versus Grey’s Anatomy?…What do you talk about around the water cooler? How this person did that or how you can’t believe what happened on heroes?…
I’m a member of a yahoo group – no name needed - filled with 1700 ladies and on a regular day, my inbox gets flooded with Bobby Brown being locked up, Britney shaving her head, Mcdreamy or Mcsteamy whichever, online dating, Beyonce videos, what the persons boyfriend did, how to handle a cheating man, where to get your hair done and I tell you that these are professional, intellegent women – lawyers, doctors, and whatever other title they choose, most have various degrees and live a regular life and I look at these emails and I see whenever someone tries to talk about something uplifting no one answers or they get killed for having an opinion outside of do you think Beyonce and Jay-Z are broken up…
I know I’ll hear ‘but I don’t talk about this stuff’ – well what do you talk about? Really – what do you talk about? Although not a bible person – the bible says that GOD spoke the words let there be light and there was light - so whether you believe in a god sitting in heaven or an energy form like I do you believe that not only is it the thoughts you think but the words you speak that are creative…
My life changed drastically – I used to say I’m the money person and always had money – then I changed that to I’m broke, I’m not happy, I’m not good and I experienced the worst years of my life being unhappy and broke…Your words have power – where your thoughts and words go, your energy flows. Don’t waste your words on things that are not empowering you!
I have a thing that I tell people I’m a walking idea machine and guess what yeah I’m literally a walking idea machine – sometimes I have 10 different ideas from my house to the car door. Maybe I should run a mastermind group – see another idea…and if you were to listen in on a conversation with me and Shauna you will find that we are always brainstorming on ways to get to $500 mill – we aren’t talking about how this guy did something to the girl next door – WE DON’T CARE - Yeah it’s harsh but really how does that empower our lives, how does that help us move forward? Our conversations are ‘How can we get the money we want? How can we release any resistance to money? How can we improve our websites? How can we improve ourselves?’ and I tell you what – my biggest growth has happened after being partners with Shauna because when you speak about things empowering you shift your focus. You lose a lot of friends, but you shift your focus…I believe Robert Kiyosaki said that as you change your conversations change and you cannot be friends with the same people because soon you will have nothing to talk about – if not then consider it another Ophelia Nicholson quote.
Exercise for today: Change your subject topics for a day
So for the entire day, talk about the lotto you are gonna win with everyone, even the ones who will say YEAH RIGHT…I went to my uncle’s house the other day and I had a notepad where I was dividing my lotto winnings – yes for the lotto that has not been drawn yet…I was telling everyone I would win and when I did they would get x or y and it would be in a trust…now people might think that’s crazy but I don’t care…talk about the money you are going to make, talk about the things you are going to create – for 24 hours – do not speak to people about anything not empowering to your growth. Then try it for a week – you may not get a lot of your phone calls returned but if they are not here to be your friend and to grow then you probably don’t need them anyway. So if you are already doing this, then continue – if you have a girlfriend that you gossip with – gossip about how great it would be to have 1/100th of the assets of one person on the Forbes 400 list…CHANGE WHAT YOU TALK ABOUT!

One more idea – wallpaper and screen savers. These personal development reminders/quotes/action/motivations whatever you want to call them would make good wallpaper.
I found the Screenpaver program several years ago, and love it because I can put my own pictures/wallpaper into it and they come out all the same size, etc. I tried Microsoft’s version, but didn’t like the sizing.
All you’d need would be some great background pictures on which to put them.

Where do you find positive people to talk such with? I think you mention prosperity partners on Day 4 (I’m reading first, then going back through), and I need to find more positive people to add to my friends.
I don’t really feel comfortable hitting my current friends with all this at once, yet I need to bombard myself or I won’t get going well…

Intresting you should bring up screensavers Shauna and I have been going back and forth this morning about making some- You are definately in the flow. As far as prosperity partners- ASK! When I wanted prosperity partners I sent a message to a group I was apart of because I felt my growth would be improved by having someone to pick me up when I was feeling down and to bounce ideas of the top of their heads.
Shauna answered my request almost immediately and if I knew that we’d be in buisness togather years later I’d have asked much sooner! We are always creating our lives and the fact that you don’t think your current friends would support your new growth means that you are outgrowing them-
We considered the fact that when you are working on yourself with no support it’s lonely and hard that’s why our interactive programs are all in a group setting.
Don’t worry new friends will come along as there are groups and tons of people starting their prosperity journey looking for friends or partners so you will find some really soon. As a matter a fact someone may read your post and want to be your prosperity partner.

Something like here: http://www.affirmwear.com/ is what I was thinking of. It’s infrequently updated, unfortunately.
I find that pictures are good for me instead of an entire screensaver package, mainly for the reasons above, and because of the bit of a taint due to many packages having spyware and other forms of malware. That’s why I stick with screenpaver and similar programs.
