After my post yesterday I wanted to share a personal story about the Law of Gestation. Now to everyone looking at the story all the incidents may seem unrelated, but after studying Law of Attraction you realize that it was all related. This entire gestation for me took 2 years. Now if you listened to our interview with Coach K, we said at one point we were below poor looking up – well this particular situation started then.

Now I was unemployed and didn’t pay my car insurance – well I had no money – so my car insurance got cancelled. I got a notice from the state saying since my car insurance expired I now owed them money; I ignored it. I’m sure they sent several notices, all of which got trashed. When things got back on track, I got new insurance and I forgot about the state. Several months pass and I’m now in a bad situation again, so this time I was 2 months late on my car note – the one I owned at the time – and got my car repossessed. Now you can imagine the mental state I was in at the time. I went and got my car back which was such a struggle – I then thought everything was okay.

A few months pass and I get pulled over by the police, who say they have run the tags and the car doesn’t belong to me! Great now I get tickets. I went to the MVA or DMV, they said I needed to take some steps which I did and then assumed my car situation was fixed. I NEVER WENT BACK TO MAKE SURE. I just paid my tickets.

A few more months pass and I get pulled over by the police – not to worry only got pulled over by the police twice in my life. Now they are pulling me over because — my tags are expired and my car doesn’t even show that there are tags on the car – WHAT?! I now get 2 tickets! Fine – now I need to go back to MVA or DMV which I do the next day. Apparently after not paying the notices sent to me by the state, they deleted my tags out of the system, so never sent me notice to renew my tags since to them I have no tags. Great I now have to get new tags…I get new tags.

Then few more months pass I get a call – my driver’s license is suspended – WHAT?! I forgot to pay the last two tickets and now they suspended my drivers license. Now I have to go to the court to pay tickets and back to MVA or DMV.

Now to someone these may seem like unrelated events over the course of a 2 year period but if you followed the story you realize that it is not unrelated. Had I paid the state instead of trashing the notices, then I wouldn’t have had tickets and a suspended license 2 years later so hence my statement:

Do not let things sit and fester like a sore under the skin. You may forget about them but they will surface eventually…
