I fully understood Ophelia's point about accepting money or abundance in any form when it comes to you ie. being open to receiving, while I could also feel accutely the discomfort and shock of those who felt she was condoning stealing. I believe the solution lies in seeing that we can be far more open to receiving abundance than we already are, rather than in nitpicking the example used. Belated thanks to all of the people who took the time to discuss this post...it still provokes pondering on my part...
