I may just turn this into a series – as the comment I got on the last one was not what I expected but here it goes…

‘Wow, are you serious? You have no idea what this guy’s life situation is. And regardless, his actions represent the kind of behavior that the world needs if it’s going to have any chance of surviving. If I had to choose between you or him as a friend, you wouldn’t even be a consideration. I mean, according to your “law of attraction,” if I accidentally leave my wallet at your place, I’ll never see it again (at least it’s contents). You’ll assume that I (or the universe) “wanted” you to have it. U R cRaZy. Seek help.’

Well first let me clarify a few things: One, I stand firmly behind my last post and two, in terms of help I do need a personal assistant! Now just because I gave a different version on Law of Attraction other than write it down, visualize it, feel the feelings, doesn’t mean my version is wrong…The fact is those steps are all needed in Law of Attraction but a lot of people miss the last step – which is RECIEVING – allowing the Universe to give you the things that you want in a form other than you may expect. Now before writing my post I actually asked the opinion of two people and both had opposite view points on the issue – One person felt you should give it back and it’s unfair to take it – The next person immediately got my point and realized this guy was saying No to the Universe.

Let’s really look at this guy’s actions: He picks up a lady – who tips him .30cents – he realizes many hours later that she left her stuff behind. He drives around searching for said lady while losing fares – finally when lady is found he finds it hard to accept the huge reward of $100 she gives him… now let’s see what happens a few days down the road…A few days later he starts to feel resentful that he lost money – when he hears people say man that was stupid…so now this guy has a new belief: ‘I’m honest and rich people are selfish, greedy, mean and I don’t wanna be selfish and mean so I’m never gonna be rich.’ I’m not saying someone should steal money – that’s wrong and plain stupid but look at the words – the guy relucantly accepts the money – that means he really didn’t want to take it…Like a lot of people, I myself grew up with the belief that you should go return it to the police station and that rich people are greedy, crooks and the scum of the earth…and that poor people are honest. 

Where is it that you cannot be honest and rich? Why do you have to choose?…I’m not choosing – I can have both - and by the way, you would come back to my house to find your wallet and its contents had not moved from the place you left it…

How many people do you know that say ‘Oh my work is worth $1k but pay me 300 bucks’, or who stay at a job for years and suffer silently and never ask for a raise? How many people do you know that literally won’t take the money even when they are in dire need? That’s called telling the universe NO! If I walked up to this taxi driver and said ‘Wow! What you did was something of honor. I’m so happy that someone like you is changing the world. Here is $5K I just withdrew from my bank account ,and don’t worry I’m loaded so it’s not a problem’, his answer would still be ‘I can’t take it.’ It’s not about the money in the cab – it’s about being open to receeving from other sources except the ones that you are used to…

Many people are interested in Law of Attraction because their life sucks and they want to change their finances and have a better life…I knew someone once who was broke – desperately in need of money. I said how much do you need? – $150 was the reply – I said Okay no problem! They said Oh Ophelia I cannot take the money from you, I’d feel bad…that’s saying NO to the Universe…

Understand that if you ask the Universe for something, it will deliver - it has no choice. Now if you have reservations over the method that you will allow, that’s another matter but don’t go complaining that Law of Attraction doesn’t work… The Universe is abundant – always has and always will be…now if you are dry in an area of your life then you may be holding it back by the thoughts you are thinking…If you are asking for money, and you find a suitcase by a phone booth are you truly open to accepting it?…(Got the briefcase thing from Stuart Wilde’s book- “The trick to money is having some” ) or do you hold a belief that you have to work hard for money?…Are you open to someone giving it to you or will you feel badly because you feel you are depriving them?

The US prints 400 million dollars every day – that’s 400 million new dollars available for anyone to have…money is lost every day and it goes back to the source which is the Universe…so why can’t the Universe redistribute it back to you?…Why can’t you just stumble on a pile of 100′s as you take your morning run?!…
