The problem with most people is that they want wealth and success but do not want to venture out of the circles that they are currently in, whether circle of friends, circle of business partners, but here is the rub – wealthy people or successful people may not hang out in those circles. You attract to you that which is inline with who you are – so chances are you are attracting people who are on your level of wealth or success. People tend to stay in areas of comfort – comfortable finances, comfortable friends, comfortable job – but the problem is, being comfortable makes most people lazy…not trying to achieve anything more…not trying to reach any higher.
Steps to studying Success and Wealth:
1) Have a PLAN: How wealthy do you want to be? How successful do you want to be? Define success and make a plan. How much money do you plan on having, and what kind of success do you want?
2) Seek out the wealthy and successful: Try the direct approach. Most people seem to have an idea that people who are wealthy or successful are above them and wouldn’t want to help. Contact wealthy and successsful people and ask for help.
3) Seek out the wealthy and successful: Indirect approach. Where do they hang out? Find the richest neighborhoods – drive around them, mingle with people. Find the most decadent hotels and have coffee – notice the people, make conversations, make new friends. Also, find them online – seek out the forums, blogs etc. where your mentors hang out…read between the lines as well and study how they THINK.
4) Learn from the best: In every field there are people who have risen to the top. Anything they have done, you can do too – and more. Listen to audios, read books by the most successful and wealthy people. Not only will you soak in valuable information, you will be creating success habits of your own.

The fact is that if you want to have something, or to get good at something, you have to study it…learn about it…practice it…make it your FOCUS. How can you become something if you don’t know anything about it?…

I agree that we are on the journey of success. The people we meet in our paths, the talks, seminars, books are all tools for our success. I’m so amazed that when I focus on being wealthy, I begin to meet millionaires and multi-millionaires in person. It inspires me to meet up with them and feel the energy from them.
